Designing can be an act of patriotism. Arienza Architects endeavored to incorporate Filipino Architecture in one of its major projects: The Casamira South subdivision.
The architecture of the Philippines reflects the historical and cultural traditions in the country. Filipino architecture has influences of Austronesian, Southeast Asian, Chinese, Spanish, and American architectural styles integrated within it.
Traces of Filipino modern architecture can be seen in the contemporary mainstream Filipino architectural scene. The current Philippine architectural landscape is a contrast among small traditional huts built of wood, bamboo, nipa, grass, and other native materials typical of the Austronesian and Southeast Asian traditional homes.
All of these design elements were integrated and incorporated into the Housing and Land Development fixture of this massive subdivision project.
